Skills Exam Prep

The Washington State Skills Exam is the behind-the-wheel driving test required to obtain a driver’s license. During the exam, you’ll demonstrate your ability to safely operate a vehicle by performing common driving maneuvers, obeying traffic laws, using proper observation techniques, and making safe decisions in real traffic situations. The test evaluates your overall driving skills, vehicle control, and ability to drive safely and confidently on Washington roadways. The 4 maneuvers on the exam will be the lane changing, parking on a hill, parallel parking and backing around a corner.
